Tijuana Cartel
In a season saturated with cookie-cutter beats and recycled rhythms, Tijuana Cartel's 'Ish And The Beautiful Nonsense Machine' emerges as a breath of fresh, psychedelic air. The new release is a trippy, genre-defying opus that melds organic house and tech with a kaleidoscope of sonic textures.

Tijuana Cartel, known for their fearless exploration of sound, delivers an E.P that dances on the edge of reality and fantasy. 'Ish And The Beautiful Nonsense Machine' is a labyrinth of musical experimentation, where classical and flamenco guitar riffs intertwine with pulsating electronic beats, creating a hypnotic tapestry that's as unpredictable as it is captivating.

This latest project builds on the band's previous triumphs, including the acclaimed ‘The Epic of Ish’, but ventures further into the unknown. Each track is a journey, inviting listeners to lose themselves in a swirl of vibrant melodies and intricate rhythms.

Bullhorn

There’s an old saying, popularised by The Breakfast Club: “you mess with the bull, you get the horns”. What does it mean? Not much really. Mostly that if you do something dangerous, you might get hurt. One dangerous thing you could do would be to miss the crazy, brass based, MC led explosion that is BULLHORN. These party animals combine virtuosic musicianship, crazy arrangements, catchy grooves and upbeat rhythms to whip the audience into a veritable frenzy. This nine piece behemoth is hell-bent on good times.

SheJ
Born in Germany, and living years in New Zealand and Australia, Sheila harnesses this cultural diversity in her music.

Touring with her father and the infamous Mojo club around Germany in her mid-teens she spent many a night soaking up the art of DJing side stage. This was the beginning of a deep and intoxicating relationship with genres such as acid jazz, Electronica, Afro beat, Deep house and Minimal Tech. Whilst some find memorabilia satisfaction in snow globes or lederhosen, Sheila returned with the likes of Laurent Garner, Ian Pooley, Carl Cox and Peggy Lee to add to the ever-growing vinyl collection.
