HOBOFOPO Friday night show at The Republic

This ticket is just for the Friday night show. You should consider getting the festival pass ticket instead (for $66.6) and making a full weekend checking out all the HOBOFOPO events.

So you're going to see a lot of folk-punk this weekend, with all the finest folk-punk acts from all corners of Australia and headline act The Taxpayers from USA. But we thought you might like to let your hair down to a bit of ska-punk. Yes, you've been good kids all year, so you can have some ska, as a special treat. We are presenting Operation Ibis from NSW for your treat.

Ragged Hollow are HOBOFOPO stalwarts, showcasing Ryan Garth's cynical cerebral songwriting and backed by a talented band.

The Dead Peasants from VIC are back again too. We welcome them with open arms, and will save a soft spot in the bin for them.

Accessibility;

The Republic Bar is partially/mostly accessible, read on; Wheelchair access = big steps at the front, ask staff for rear access, they'll open a gate. Toilets = not good. Venue toilets may be hard to access for people with poor mobility, and nearby public toilets may be closed if it's late. Chilling/overstimulation = quieter areas are likely to be present away from the stage (a few nooks in here), seated areas may not have line of site to the stage depending on size/shape of the audience.

We want HOBOFOPO to be a safe space. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other general dickheadness. So if you see anything wrong tell someone, then tell someone else.

We are on stolen land, sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to elders past present and emerging.
