Words by Mia Wray:
Maggie Rogers
Maggie Rogers is probably the artist that I probably look up to the most. Everything from how she navigates her career and stays so true to herself amongst the noise is so inspiring to me. She has such a radiant and honest energy on stage and the songwriting is truly so magical.
Olivia Dean
I just got to see Olivia Dean live at the Forum in Melbourne Australia and it was the best gig I've been to in years. She is effortless from all of the hard work she puts in to her art and I love being able to witness it all unfold. I'm very excited for the future of her music - can't wait to see what's next.
Raye
Raye is truly, truly one of the greats. I've never had the opportunity to witness her live but I just know that she would radiate an energy that would make me question if she's even a real person. Everything from the song writing, live set, the messaging and the artistic direction is so inspiring for me and I'm so grateful I get to live on the Raye timeline.
Yebba
Best vocalist....to ever live? Whenever I watch this woman sing I am immediately humbled and excited to witness what vocal cords can really do. I also love her dedication to true art. Her debut album was played over and over for about a year and I just never got sick of it.
Gabrielle Aplin
Gabrielle Aplin's music awoke something in me at a young age and I am so grateful for that. She was the artist that inspired the idea that maybe I could embark on some sort of music career and I don't think I would be where I am without her songs. What an incredible songwriter, live singer, collaborator and person. Love love love her the most.
