Fanny’s third album Fallow, released in March 2020 was considered a ‘breakthrough’ winning the ARIA, CMAA Golden Guitar and AIR awards for Country Album of the Year as well as 4 additional Golden Guitars. It was shortlisted for the prestigious Australian Music Prize, debuted in the top 10 ARIA Charts and got many people through lockdown. Needless to say, following that, a 4^th album was always going to be a daunting 

So Fanny went into this album with one thing in mind – she wanted it to feel good. That’s all and as Rod Yates said, ‘Hey Dawn does feel good.
