When There's No Sun' is back for its third edition. Space'd enlist local tune slingers, DJ JNETT and PLEASER (formerly FIBRE OBTIXXX) to guide us through the night.

Joining us at the Night Cat is the one & only Janette Pitruzzello, aka DJ JNETT. Her musical knowledge is that of envy, with a deep repertoire of the finest house, deep house, techno, funk, soul, disco, dub, reggae, and hip-hop records at her fingertips. This, coupled with her impeccable curation, masterful turntable technique, and genuine passion for music has made her a cornerstone of the Australian dance music scene since the early '90s.

She’s warmed up crowds for Theo Parrish, Floating Points, Larry Heard, and St Germain, educating their audiences with impeccably curated selections that reason throughout every set. She’s also performed on some of the biggest stages in the southern hemisphere including the Sidney Myer Bowl, The Forum and the Sydney Opera House. DJ JNETT frequents local festivals such as Pitch Music & Arts, Beyond the Valley, Sugar Mountain & Boiler Room, Splendour in the Grass, Meredith & Golden Plains Festival.

Joining DJ JNETT is PLEASER, formerly FIBRE OBTIXXX, a sonic provocateur who's evolved from crafting utilitarian dance music to forging a gritty, texture-rich soundscape. Shedding the constraints of traditional electronic genres, Pleaser's current output is a captivating fusion of genres that defies easy categorization, drawing from a vast pool of influences - from the pioneers of techno to the progenitors of power electronics. His DJ sets are a high-wire act, balancing precariously between the infectious rhythm of house and disco, the intensity of techno, and the raw energy of punk. With a punk ethos at its core, Pleaser's performances are a ritualistic journey through sound's deeper grooves, redefining the dance floor experience and challenging audiences to embrace the beautiful chaos.
