Celebrate all things queer at Walk The Rainbow!

The Station is proud to partner with the Sunshine Coast Pride Network for this colourful celebration of our LGBTQIA+ family: Walk the Rainbow! 

The Station’s First Birthday weekend celebrations kick off with WALK THE RAINBOW, a celebration of all things queer, featuring the re-launch of the Sunshine Coast Pride Network. This is an event designed to bring the LGBTQIA+ community of Sunshine Coast/South-East QLD together, while celebrating the Sydney Mardi Gras weekend as well. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed for a party!! 

The Sunshine Coast Pride Network is unveiling their new website and branding, and is focused on attracting new members to help support its mission. Join us at 6pm for the great reveal of their brand spanking new website - refurbished thanks to generous funding by the Sunshine Coast Council and Lesbians Incorporated - and exciting news about the 2025 Sunshine Coast Pride Festival. 

This free, 18+ event kicks off at 5pm, and will feature a variety of activities, including a Walk The Rainbow Competition (where The Rainbow Queen will be crowned!),  LGBTQIA+-friendly market stalls, information booths from local queer groups, and a very special cabaret from the Sunshine Coast's only dedicated LGBTQIA+ club night, Club Queer. Hosted by Sophie deLightful, it will feature a tasty array of burlesque, sideshow, drag and circus talent. And if all that wasn't enough, we've got Club Queer residents DJ D'JONN carving up some mega beats until 10pm. See you on the dancefloor!
