Australian disco-funk institution Vaudeville Smash return to The Night Cat for one big night this September.

With a blend of disco, funk, synth and soul, Vaudeville Smash are unmatched entertainers who deliver a joyous musical experience like no other. “I’ll be damned if Vaudeville Smash aren’t the most mind-blowingly refreshing live act to emerge from Melbourne since God knows when.” - Beat Magazine

Selling out The Night Cat year after year, Vaudeville Smash will reveal much-anticipated new music, along with silky smooth hits from their catalog and more. Joining will be special guests and cosmic disco-revivalists, Honey. Bring your dancing shoes, boys and girls... things are going to get spicy!

Vaudeville Smash is an Australian disco-funk band led by three brothers, Marc (lead vocals, saxophone and flute), Dan (vocals and drums), and Luca Lucchesi (bass), and joined by friends James Bowers (keys) and Ash Griffin (guitar). Formed in 2009, the Melbourne group has released 3 studio albums, 3 EPs, and brought their electric energy and showmanship to audiences around the globe.

Best known for their blend of disco, funk and soul music, the Melbourne-based band gained international recognition in 2014 for releasing ‘Zinedine Zidane’ featuring the late veteran commentator Les Murray. A viral sensation about a popular French professional football player, the single has garnered over 13 million streams, 25 million YouTube views and was named among Billboard’s top 10 unofficial World Cup anthems.

In recent years, Vaudeville Smash have infused even more boldness to their kaleidoscopic sound and performances, expanding their songcraft on new singles ‘Miami’ and the soon to be released ‘Something Special’ with fearless creativity and commitment to pushing musical boundaries.
