Renowned techno live act Stef Mendesidis makes his debut at one of Sydney's premier live music venues, Oxford Art Factory.
Greek artist Stef Mendesidis has been producing and playing music for over a decade. He spent his early years immersed in the realm of sound by studying the architecture and engineering behind analog instruments.
Stef's sound can be described as dynamic minimalism with an abundance of complex sound design. His unique musical style has made an undeniable imprint in modern electronic music culture, with his tracks supported by some of the top DJs in the scene and frequently heard on some of the most famous dance floors around the world.
Stef continues to diligently work on his craft and never deviates from his chosen trajectory, giving him a one-of-a-kind aesthetic as an artist. He is one of the busiest producers in electronic music, with his ever-evolving, long format live performances (which have been known to last more than four hours) being a testament to this. This year’s “Decima” album on Ben Klock’s own Klockworks label sees Mendesidis at the height of his powers, delivering an instant classic, perfectly sculpted and viscerally felt.
On local support we have two of Eora’s best, The Lab founder Lovefromsoph and our very own Jas Manning.
After his last Australian tour was postponed over 12 months ago, we have been eagerly awaiting Stef Mendesidis’ performance. The industrial aesthetic and powerful sound system at Oxford Art Factory set the ideal stage for Stef to debut his internationally acclaimed live techno set in Sydney/Eora.
