Wedge Head Events are teaming up with Brisbane’s most iconic venue ‘The Triffid’ for a night packed full of heavy psych rock, alien gutter pop and a touch of classic indie psychedelia. 

This event is a mastermind of four mind-bending, conscious expanding bands who are creating music that transports your kaleidoscopic vision to another universe. 

Headlining the show are the highly sort after Zong! They are a heavy psych band from Brisbane who aim to create a sonic and visual portal in which listeners can transcend perceived reality and explore new dimensions and states of mind. 

They are the citrus zing in your mulled wine, the extra kick in your bowl of ramen, slightly careless with conscious hearts, slightly alt with a touch of psych, the neighbourhood garage rockers, they are GUS! They have a unique ability to create a diversity of loud & fuzzy noise, ranging from heavy psych driven thrash to joyful indie-rock. GUS is known for their energetic live show, providing a flavourful mood with tight, crafty tunes. ‘There is a little GUS in all of us!

Known for their intense vocals and creating an out of body experience, Blue Savannah Underworld bring a big fat pot of melting sex, psychedelia, chaos, and alien rock to every stage. With a larger than life sound, their live shows are unpredictable and not a feat to be missed. 

To kick off the night, Brisbane’s Golden Age of Ballooning incorporate Classic Indie Rock mixed with artistic psychedelia. These up and comers are making a fast impression on the music scene and are one psych indie band to keep your eyes and ears on.
