More than $6.5 million in racing prizemoney is on the line today with Queensland’s iconic Group 1 sprint, the $3 million The Star Stradbroke Handicap, topping a brilliant race card.

Testament to the calibre of contenders that the Stradbroke continues to draw is last year’s winner Think About It. Two weeks earlier, the gelding took out the Group 1 Kingsford Smith Cup then followed up the Stradbroke with a stunning victory in the world’s richest race, The Everest.

Also set to attract top-tier thoroughbred talent today are the Group 1 $1 million Ladbrokes J.J. Atkins and the Group 2 $1.2 million Sky Racing Q22.

Please note as Brisbane Racing Club is a Licenced Venue you may be asked for ID when on course.

Acceptable Forms of ID include: Current Australian driver licence or learner permit, passport (from any country), adult proof of age card, a recognised proof of age card (eg. Keypass identity card) or foreign driver license. These can be hard copy ID or official digital ID. The ID must be current and have a photograph of the person and their date of birth. Expired IDs will not be accepted.

It is an offence for a minor to be on licensed premises in Queensland unless they are accompanied by a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising the minor
