The Masters Apprentices, the legendary home-grown Oz rock band spanning more than six decades, return to the stage featuring original 1960s founding members Mick Bower (guitarist and composer) and Brian Vaughton (drums). Vocalist Craig Holden leads the band, with Bill Harrod (bass) and Dan Matejcic (guitar) completing the powerhouse line-up.

For this special Brisbane performance the band will be joined by original songwriter and guitarist Doug Ford, who will make a special guest appearance performing selected songs during the show. This marks the first time the principal songwriters from both eras of the Masters Apprentices will share the stage together.

In the 1960s the Masters Apprentices became a rock’n’roll and rhythm & blues institution alongside The Aztecs, The Loved Ones, The Twilights and The Easybeats, taking Australia by storm. Now, celebrating more than 60 years of music, the band reunites to rock out once again with a repertoire that returns to their original 60s garage band roots.

Hear the early hits penned by Mick Bower including “Living In A Child’s Dream,” “Wars or Hands of Time” and “Undecided,” alongside classic songs written by Doug Ford including “Think About Tomorrow Today,” “Turn Up Your Radio” and “Because I Love You,” and much more.

With both of the band’s defining songwriters appearing on the same stage, this rare performance offers a unique opportunity to experience the full musical legacy of one of Australia’s most important rock bands.
