Sydney songwriter and performer Ruby Jackson celebrates the launch of her latest single "Out Of Fashion" at The Vanguard. 

At 22, Jackson has positioned herself at the heart of the Australian R&B music scene. Her musical influences are derived from the worlds of R&B, Jazz and Soul. Since honing in on her passion for songwriting, Ruby has found a way to create this multi-generational vision of classic music that has a modern twist, drawing on the likes of R&B/Pop icons Joy Crookes, Lily Allen and Anderson .Paak. Join us as Ruby Jackson launches her dazzling new single "Out Of Fashion", and a brand new catalogue of gorgeous original music. Jackson will be supported by no other than two of Sydney's R&B/Soul icons, RISSA and Maysa Tippins.

Sydney based singer/songwriter RISSA creates music with an untainted soul. Inspired by the worlds of Neo-Soul, R&B and Gospel, RISSA sings about her real life experiences and translates them through luscious blends of soulful melodies, silky harmonies and rhythmic grooves forming all the layers of her sound.

Maysa Tippins

MAYSA is an alternative R&B/Soul singer/songwriter who is experimental with her sound and uses her music as self therapy, as well as to enjoy. Music is more than just surface level to MAYSA and hopes to use it not just for her own survival, but in hopes to help to ease a larger audience.
