With the award of a Victoria Rocks Touring Grant having propelled her around Australia on national tour, Rosie Burgess has firmly secured a place for herself and her unique brand of urban folkroots music, in the Australian music scene. Playing straight from the heart, Burgess consistently shows us why she is being called one of our countrys best rising stars Coastfest 2008, NSW.

The release of her album, Humble Pie [MGM/PSR], last year saw Burgesss music hit the national stage, and with radio showing great support for the album, especially Triple J, it has been an exciting time for this passionate musician. With her highly anticipated, brand new studio album due out in October 2008 [MGM/ PSR], Burgess is set to raise the bar again.
