Rock Reunion brings five local bands together for one special night of music as we welcome back the original space cowboy Jos from the Netherlands. Featuring atmospheric post punk rockers Foxlore, Americana Indie from Open Range, synth driven pop rock from Real Moxy, a unique mix of mid-western emo and synth wave from TWINR and the millennial nostalgia of local garage rockers I Know You Know. This will be a Monday night to remember!

Foxlore 

Hailing from South East Asia with a deep love for Joy Division, New Order, Gang Of Four and a host of post punk and British indie acts, FOXLORE is a Sydney based band consisting of 5 members from Malaysia and Philippines, who made Sydney their home base. Coming from a diverse multicultural and musical background, the band has attained a unique mix of dark, angular, soaring melodic soundscapes, psychedelia aural experience with a knack for simple and driving songs played with a great deal of intensity. The band’s live shows have been labelled as a ‘dark horse’, ‘surprise’ performers, punching you in the gut when you least expect it with mind blowing intensity and sound, an aural experience that HAS to be seen and heard live.

Open Range

Classic rock with a modern twist, Open Range are an all originals band featuring Pat on guitar/vocals, Georgina on keys/backing vocals, Ben on drums and Brian on bass. This four piece line-up packs a punch with their unique style of Americana that ranges from punchy classic rock inspired tunes to slower ballads with a nostalgic feel.

Real Moxy

What started off as a trans-continental co-writing project between Belgium’s Gilles Gerlo & Sydney’s Paul Kilpinen has now become genuine indie pop band Real Moxy. Layers of synths, guitar melodies and vocal harmonies blend their love of lush studio pop with DIY bedroom production. 2021 saw the release of their first double single Spell It Out / I Can Be Good Company. The band also expanded to a five-piece with the addition of Jed Maisey, Jamie Cochrane and Luke Cramp.

I Know You Know

Sydney-based indie rock band I Know You Know channels the nostalgic sounds of garage rock and Britpop bands like The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys and The Beatles and weaves them into a blend of indulgently catchy and inspired songs that examine the facade of the modern age.

TWNR

TWINR is a Sydney-based project by Chase Calderon with their own definition of indie music; mixing elements of rock, mid-western emo, synth-wave, and pop to blend a distinct kind of sound that elevates and soars through among the common taste.
