PLAYLATE is a collective of seasoned musicians coming together weekly to kick out grooves and jams on the fly. Witness the magic coming off the top of some of Melbourne’s premier improvisational domes every Thursday night at the Night Cat.

Its individual members spanning many genres in their own respective careers ranging from RnB to dub and hip-hop to house music, the collective is born out of many a late-night improv gig for the last two years.

Every session will feature a special guest artist to curate the experience and keep things fresh each and every week, so you’ll only once hear the fire that comes off that stage. And if you do hear it again… you heard it here first.
