August Line Up

Nikki Britton

Nikki Britton is often described as a “force of nature”, but think less natural disaster, and more joy bomb. Her warmth draws her audience close, and her sharp wit doesn’t let them catch their breath. Her physicality takes her storytelling to another level, with characters flying in and out of the tales spun from her own chaotic life.

Nikki’s acting credits include Matt Okine’s The Other Guy, and a lead part the ABC mini-series SheilasShe also appeared as the iconic Marlo Machelski across three seasons of How To Stay Married created by Peter HelliarNikki’s other screen credits include One, a short film for the ABC and the survival guide lockdown series At Home Alone Together.

John Cruckshank

John Cruckshank is a gifted stand-up comedian who is well-know and well-loved all over Australia in regular comedy circles. Cruckshank is best identified by the overgrown crop of hair in the top of his head, which he recently trimmed off, much to the chagrin of his fans.

John Cruckshank has developed a unique style of his own, in delivering his lucid one-liners with just the right twist to bring out the funny side of every situation. An rather private person, Cruckshank does not have as much exposure to media or internet as his other fellow stand-up comedians, which explains why he does not have much visibility on the usual public domains, but this does not undermine his sheer gift of the gab to evoke a laugh and prove that he too is among the best around, when it comes to stand-up comedy. He is appears regularly at all the regular comedy watering holes in and around Australia, where he is well-received at each venue.

Matty B

Matty B has performed all across Australia, with his unique, dry and poignant style of honest Aussie comedy.

He has taken to stages at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival and is one of the Newcastle Comedy scene's finest exports.

Fady Kassab

Lebanese-born, Sydney-based Fady Kassab is the 2019 winner of Australia’s most prestigious comedy competition, triple j’s RAW Comedy. His show-stopping performance, televised on SBS TV, saw him subsequently flown to that year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe to participate in the Gilded Balloon’s long-running “So you Think You’re Funny?” comedy competition.

The most influential comedy competition in the UK has since its inception in 1988 started the careers of comedy luminaries, putting Fady in the company of previous finalists including Dylan Moran, Lee Mack, Graham Norton and Hannah Gadsby. Fady won his semi-finals and made the grand finals of the competition. Subsequently, he was selected to feature in the “Best of Edinburgh Showcase Show”.

Marty Bright

Over the past decade Marty Bright has taken his unique brand of physical, observation stand up performed around major cities across Australia, USA, Canada and New Zealand at the top clubs including the Sydney and LA’s Comedy Store, Caroline’s and Broadway Comedy Club in NYC and The Comedy Nest in Montreal.

Having been hand chosen for the prestigious FRESH, BREAKOUT and ROADSHOW productions at Sydney Comedy Festival, Bright has established himself as an affable and charismatic performer that is in demand around Australia.

He has opened for Akmal, ARIA nominee Luke Heggie, Steve Hoffstetter and Daniel Muggleton as well as sharing stages with Matt Okine, Ronnie Chieng, Dave Hughes, Rhys Nicholson, and Fiona Oloughlin to name a few.

Doors at 7:30pm with the show commencing at 8pm. Food available in the lower levels of the venue.
