Liar Liar: A band from the Northern Suburbs which has lead a deafening trail in their wake, shattering expectations and creating music that breaks all norms. Formed a year ago, playing a gig within 24 of inception, transitioning between various influences to blend hook laden riffs and captivating performances. Xenosine is the moniker of electronic composer/performer Vijay Thillaimuthu. Informed by the rich history of analogue sound synthesis, Xenosine creates unique immersive environments based on synergistic approaches with technology. This is largely enabled through the open ended architecture of modular synthesisers. Amongst a range of diverse outcomes, Xenosine has presented work for Unsound, What is Music Festival, the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Red Bull Music Festival, The Banff Centre, Subliminal Impulse - Manchester and the Tokyo Festival of Modular.
