hobofopo - HOBarts Original FOlk Punk Orgy - a 3-day folk-punk gig-crawl

HOBOFOPO is back again, having managed to pull heaps of the biggest names in folkpunk to hobart for our annual party for the past 8 years.

We're excited to showcase Apes Of The State and Pigeon Pit, both from the USA, and both for their first time in Aus.

You can buy tickets to individual gigs, or buy the festival pass (that's this ticket) which will get you into all of the hobofopo gigs (and it's about half the price of buying individual gig tickets.

the format looks a bit like this;

from 9.30pm - republic bar - the currency (vic), a commoners revolt (act), alegria (tas)

then late night club at twisted lime for tribute sets, where your favorite folkpunk acts cover their favorite folkpunk acts.

after less accessible venues last year, we have tried to secure more accessible venues. with the exception of the late night club (twisted lime is upstairs), all other venues are wheelchair accessible, most have ambulant toilets, and some have seated areas with line of sight to the stage.

We want Hobofopo to be a safer space. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other general dickheadness. So if you see anything wrong tell someone, then tell someone else.
