Come and immerse yourself into a fairytale for the heartbroken, as Hemans Erilia's debut EP 'Flower Crown out of Red Flags' launches you into a world of all things pretty, dramatic and emotional. All about heartbreaks, sobbing questionings, a whole lot of relearning, and a tightly squeezed hug for those who are on the same page, it is reinventing something painful into something beautiful of our own. It is making flower crowns out of red flags.
Hemans Erilia takes on the music scene as she navigates through love in a turbulent world, bringing with her dramatic vocals and sounds that reimagines the vulnerable conversation of love and identity. An up-and-coming artist from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Hemans glamorously enters the field in a whirlpool of Asian and Western influences, as she marries the pop and cinematic world together. A bit of a sensitive diva, Hemans encourages the age-old conversation of “what is love?”. Growing up with Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Joe Hisaishi, Joey Yung and Disney’s entire discography, it's no wonder that her music came to be the dreamy kaleidoscopic soundcloud that it is now. In her short career, the all-rounded musician is playing at well-known venues such as Lansdowne Hotel and Oxford Art Factory, landing international interviews, getting spins on FBI radio and being recommended by Triple J Unearthed. Hemans’s debut single ‘Love Me This Way’ tells the world that “vulnerability is a strength”. She continues this conversation in ‘Make This Christmas’ and her collaboration in ‘Hope’. Now, Hemans looks to release her debut EP ‘flower crowns out of red flags’, a “cautionary fairy-tale” about her self-love journey. With the release of ‘Lover’s Dream’ and ‘Mirror Mirror’, Hemans is excited for her EP to be a comfort to her listeners who may also struggle to love themselves.
cate guirguis is a singersongwriter from Sydney who makes indie-pop music, featuring gentle melodies and focusing on lyrics that draw from her past and the experiences of those around her. Her live looping adds theatricality to her show, adding luscious textures to her music, and conveying her obsession with vocal layering, drawn from years of choral experience. Musically inspired by the likes of Missy Higgins and Adele, and lyrically by Lauren Spencer Smith and Taylor Swift’s early music, her music aims to touch audiences through its relatability. Her self-produced debut single ‘ghost’ perfectly fills the void in your ‘sad girl late night drives’ playlist you never knew you had. As the lead single from the singer-songwriter’s debut EP for all I am, cate is proud to share ‘ghost’ as the first glimpse of what is yet to come, and after many live performances of the song, she is happy to be able to share it with her audience.
Nicola is a contemporary musician from Sydney Australia who has always had a passion for singing and performing. She grew up singing and would always take any opportunity she could find to perform. What started out as Musicals, Choirs, Eisteddfods and Busking in Cronulla has gradually turned into a career of performing in Weddings, Corporate events and Private functions all over NSW. What she finds most fulfilling is having the power to bring to life the artist's emotions in a way that is captivating to the audience. Nicola also loves songwriting and has recently started releasing music! Nicola’s voice is ever evolving but she would identify herself as a Pop/ Indie / R&B with influencers being Ariana Grande, Billie Elish, Olivia Rodrigo and Whitney Houston.
