DOORS 4PM // KITCHEN OPEN // SHOW STARTS 4:30PM

Join us for a cosy afternoon at BAB with Flora and Charlotte Le Lievre as they perform their original tunes with killer stringbands.

Flora, an alt-folk artist from Dja Dja Wurrung country, so called Bendigo applies gritty vocals reminiscent of traditional country music, intertwining beautifully dissonant finger-picked guitar parts into their indie folk and alt-country blend. Rooted in both musical and geographical heritage, Flora intertwines traditional folk instrumentation with modern sensibilities, drawing inspiration from the rich stories of their surroundings. They weave narratives that resonate on a profound level, inviting listeners into a journey of self-reflection and communal healing. Emerging as a beacon of resilience and empathy, Flora leaves an indelible mark on the alt-folk landscape. Their music draws listeners in with a blend of indie folk and alt-country music and instrumentation, thematically infused with a punk spirit and deep introspection. Their music carries a poignant emotional weight, fearlessly traversing themes of darkness alongside threads of optimism and self-affirmation.

Flora vinyls, CDS and tees will be available to purchase,

With her lilting voice and timeless sensibilities, Charlotte Le Lievre makes music that hits the heart in the unique tradition of classic country songwriters. Her songs strive to connect with the authenticity of human experience, navigating grief, joy and collective struggle. Drawing upon an array of early country and folk styles, Charlotte and band wholeheartedly pay homage to the origins of this music, whilst offering up insightful commentary on contemporary dilemmas.

Charlotte Le Lievre vinyls, CDs and Tees will be available to purchase.

This event is held on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri peoples. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging and to all indigenous folk. Fuck the colony, land back now.
