Cumbia Clash
Prepare yourself for a night filled with Latin rhythms and vibrant energy at Cumbia Clash! Three of Melbourne's most dynamic Latin acts will be bringing the heat to the stage, making this a night you won't want to miss.
Sorbo Amplio will lead the night with their unique twist on Chilean cumbia. Blending ska, cumbia, and hip hop, their high-energy performance is all about rhythm, community, and pure fun. Every show is a celebration, and no one leaves without breaking a sweat on the dance floor.
The New Monos will bring their signature sound, combining influences from their Buenos Aires roots with reggae, folklore, cumbia, and a touch of tango passion. Their diverse style promises to get you moving with a modern twist on traditional Latin sounds.
Bandides, with their experimental blend of cumbia, rock, electronic beats, and more, will explore the boundaries of Latin music in a fresh and bold way. This collective of artists led by Andy Fernandez and David Von Almendra creates an engaging and dynamic atmosphere with every performance.
DJ Randy Castilla, one of Melbourne’s most popular Latin DJs, will keep the vibe going throughout the night, starting things off and keeping the crowd energized between sets. He'll set the perfect tone for a night of dance and celebration.
Join us for Cumbia Clash—a fusion of sound, culture, and rhythm that will leave you buzzing long after the last beat drops!
We acknowledge that this event will be held on Wurundjeri land of the Kulin Nation and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
