Cosmo Pyke Announces First-Ever Australia Tour

“Dumm Dummmmmm” ~ It’s the opening bass chord that sends waves of nostalgia back to 2017, when you first discovered the genre-bending music of Cosmo Pyke.

The highly anticipated tour marks Cosmo Pyke’s debut in Australia, bringing his eclectic blend of neo-soul, indie, jazz, and hip-hop down under. Fresh off a sold out 2024 European tour, The Slack Agency is thrilled to present Cosmo’s first shows to this part of the world.

Hailing from Peckham, Cosmo quickly gained critical acclaim and a devoted following after his 2017 debut, Just Cosmo, produced by Fraser T Smith, with fan-favourite tracks like Chronic Sunshine and Great Dane

Subsequent projects, A Piper for Janet and Curser's Lament, have further expanded his discography, blending updated classics with new songs that offer a window into Cosmo’s life growing up in South London, with anecdotes of love, lust, and heartache.

2024 saw Cosmo elevate his artistry to new heights with the launch of his critically acclaimed EP Low, released on his own label, Pykrete Records. The project features standout singles like ‘Outlaw,’ a track that explores themes of self-discovery and vulnerability through tender, melodic progressions reminiscent of The Beatles, recorded at Nzoyi Studio in his native Peckham.

Cosmo’s 2024 European tour cemented his status as one of the most captivating live acts, drawing rave reviews and packed venues across the continent. Described as "euphoric and deeply personal," his performances feature a mix of classic fan favourites like ‘Chronic Sunshine’ and ‘Great Dane’ alongside new gems from Low. With deeply emotive, storytelling-driven lyrics and a relaxed stage presence, Cosmo creates an intimate atmosphere that resonates long after the final chord.

Now, as he brings his music to new audiences, Cosmo Pyke’s AUS tour promises to be a defining moment for fans across Australasia. With new songs, an updated sound, and his signature groove, each show will be a testament to his evolving artistry.

The Californian act Ashes to Amber, known for their impressive streaming numbers, will also be featured across all shows apart from Raglan.

Based in Orange, CA, Ashes to Amber is a Post Wave/Bedroom Pop project founded in 2018 by Kane Acosta. Influenced by guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, and Eric Johnson, Acosta's songwriting is rooted in intricate, melody-driven guitar work that defines the project’s sound.

All Australian shows will also feature Reiki Ruawai from New Zealand making the shows a night of international talent.

Reiki Ruawai, a bona fide talent in the eclectic music circles of New Zealand, has carved out a niche all his own, transitioning from the natural landscapes of Raglan to the dynamic urbanity of Mt Eden, Auckland. His music—a captivating blend of indie/pop, R&B, infused with the spirit of dance and the depth of soul.

Don’t miss the chance to experience his spellbinding live show in person.
