Black Dahlia is an experimental UK-born and Australian based musician and artist who creates a captivating quirkiness that casts a colourful shadow in the experimental music scene. With performances often compared to artists such as Klaus Nomi and Peter Gabriel, Black Dahlia’s music explores styles such as Art-Pop, New Wave, and the avant-garde. It forges its own unique sound but at the same time takes cues from various absurdities and weirdness.
POLTERGEIST 9000
Poltergeist 9000 are an unstoppable force who must be seen to be believed. Playing an unclassifiable fusion of synth punk, hip hop and techno-just to name a few-the Tassie-born duo have been searingstages and leaving their mark across Australia. Since Relocating toNewcastle in 2022, Poltergeist 9000 have become local legends;packing out rooms and supporting acts such as (shady nasty, gee tee,dust ), headlining shows in Melbourne and Brisbane, and closing outWest Best Block Fest. 2024 saw them release their debut album, ‘I CanSee Pam And Her Legendary Hands’, which spawned the RAGE WildOne-selected single ‘Doppelganger’. With an unmistakable style,sound and stage presence, Poltergeist 9000 are an essential underground act to watch in 2025.
