Body Hammer is a night of dark electronic music exploring existential horror. Inspired by the works of Shinya Tsukamoto [鉄男 Tetsuo trilogy] enveloping and mutated by the exotic alien worlds of Andrei Tarkovsky, David Cronenberg, John Carpenter and HP Lovecraft, to name only a few. Mirroring the transcendental dread of these works, Body Hammer seeks to ferry listeners on a doomed expedition, over dark ambient textures and bizarre beats, igniting glitched-out soundscapes and throbbing hypnotic pulses. Each new installment features new and different local artists and DJs presenting a genre mélange of mind altering. perspective shifting music, noise and horror.
