Big Fish Little Fish Presents..
BIG FISH LITTLE FISH
FAMILY RAVE - CIRCUS EXTRAVAGANZA
FT. GAVIN KEITEL / SIMON MURPHY / DAVE JURIC

Well hello Melbourne - aren't we pleased to see you!

We are so excited to invite you to the recently beautifully refurbished and reopened Northcote Theatre for our Circus themed Family rave featuring the legend that is Gavin Keitel!!

Those who know - know.   With his raw passion for music and crafting the movement and the moment for the dance floor, Keitel carved his name as one of Australia’s premier league DJs at residences at Sunny, 161 and other influential underground clubs.  A DJ set at the hands of Gavin Keitel is a pleasure in any music lover’s book -and we can’t wait to show our Little Fish what he’s all about!

Designed for parents and kids alike, the BFLF raves are social, creative, anarchic, and a lot of fun - like a micro-festival for families!

Northcote Theatre is a heritage building, lovingly restored as a spacious and airy venue with world leading sound and lighting that BFLFers old and new will truly appreciate!   The upstairs mezzanine is now a beautiful cocktail bar in which you can overlook the dancing below.

Our favourite Melbourne duo Dave Juric and Simon Murphy are back playing us the best of old school classics to get the party started and take us to close!

This rave we are inviting you to dress in the colourful, quirky worlds of the Circus!!! (Fancy dress optional but highly encouraged!).

Magicians, acrobats, tearful clowns - escapologists, or perhaps a bearded lady running around!! Old school, new school, whatever you like, what will you bring to this garden of unearthly delights. ;)

What can you expect?
Quality tunes: house/DnB/rave/techno/classics
Multi-sensory dancefloor and parachute dance finale.
Licensed bar.
Kids Craft Area with giant mural, themed crafts, and a magnatiles table for the littlest ones.
Face painting stalls
Play area with tents and tunnels and baby chillout space with mats
Optional (but highly encouraged) fancy dress: Let your imagination go wild!
Parents remain responsible for their children at all times.
Sound levels are monitored and are safe for ears of all sizes :)

Who should come?
For families with younger children (8s and under) although older kids and siblings are welcome if they love dancing with the fam!. Adults are not admitted unless accompanied by a child. A max of 3 children per adult. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email melb@bigfishlittlefishevents.com for pre-approval before buying tickets.

Tickets
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred/sold on and if anybody with tickets finds they cannot attend a sold-out event please email melb@bigfishlittlefishevents.com and BFLF will attempt to put you in touch with people seeking to buy tickets. Each member of your group must have a ticket including pre-walking infants who are free (but ticketed).  Please be very mindful of facebook scammers. They know our raves sell out and target our events.

Yep, it's a rave :)
Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with limited seating, club lighting rigs (no strobes) are used and events are busy with around 800  people at each party - which helps create the rave ambience. Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance. Sound levels are decibel checked to be safe for even the smallest of ears. Please note that Northcote Theatre has some stairs to access different rooms.  If you have any accessibility requirements please contact us at melb@bigfishlittlefishevent.com

Photography
We may photograph or film small parts of the event and by entering you are giving your permission for these to be used for BFLF promotion purposes.

Prams and Changing
If you can manage it we suggest not bringing a pram. We recommend slings and carriers for comfort and for some heart to heart raving on the dance floor :) We realise some people will need to bring prams and there is a Pram Park but prams are not allowed on the dance floor for safety reasons. Changing facilities will also be available.
