A message from the artist:

Ben Watt’s Australia tour is officially postponed.

Agents, promoters and venues are all scrambling to deal with the fallout from the crisis. As it stands, no new dates have yet been confirmed (although information is expected soon). Ben’s upcoming European shows have also been postponed with tentative rescheduling for November, and the tours of North America, Japan and Australia are officially being put back, possibly until early 2021.

We will keep you informed as soon as we know. Hold on to any ticket for now until the new schedule is made public. As you can imagine there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes right now and new dates will be announced as soon as possible.

Please follow Ben on social media and check his website for announcements too.

“The gentle mesh of flowing melody, woven instrumentation and mood of hard-earned contemplation adds up to something quite profound.”  The Telegraph

Ben Watt (Everything But The Girl) sings songs from his brand new album Storm Damage and gems from his four-decades-long career.

With comparisons to Tim Buckley, John Martyn, Jackson Brown and David Crosby, Ben has been described by novelist Jonathan Coe as "Beyond doubt one of the great British singer-songwriters".

Alongside Tracey Thorn in Everything But The Girl, Ben delivered hit singles such as “Missing” and “Wrong” plus nine studio albums, including the Australian Top 10Walking Wounded” and “Temperamental”.

The award-winning musician-writer performs with his hybrid acoustic-electronic trio featuring Watt (vocals, guitar, piano, FX), Rex Horan (double bass, backing vocals), and Evan Jenkins (drums, percussion, FX).

“…intimate, sophisticated pop…  subtle guitar elegance and detailed lyrical explorations... always with a subtlety that matches the music's slanted beauty.”Rolling Stone
