October 4th, 2020 sees The Triffid welcome back for a 3^rd year the band universally known as “QLD’s #1 once a year middle aged charity covers band” - The Planktons. 

Busting out of the Corona Virus doldrums The Planktons are building on 6 years of working the best and loudest venues in Queensland and there is nowhere they’d rather be resuming hostilities in 2020 than their spiritual home at The Triffid.

This year’s show promises to be like no other with the best of the traditional Plankton covers set meshed seamlessly with a sumptuous selection of new treats for fans to snack on.

If that’s not enough then how about some flashy falsetto from sensational support act The UK Bee Gees? 

They’ll offer a set of Bee Gee’s covers so real you’ll swear your chest hairs are growing and the rayon pants you are wearing are 4 sizes too small.

Doors open at 6.00 pm and close late. It’s an evening chock filled with entertainment and value whilst The Triffid always provides ice cold bevvies and fine food for the famished.

This gig has sold out in advance the past 5 years and this year ticket numbers are restricted to comply with virus protocols so fans of both bands should sprint to secure their admission to this once in a lifetime show.
