UNDR Ctrl presents Justin Martin + POOLCLVB + AROHA & TALI

The CLUB Ctrl international headliners continue on Sat 06 April with the arrival of Dirtybird Records OG and What To Do label boss Justin Martin (USA), alongside NZ’s AROHA & TALI and Australian (power)house hero POOLCLVB. 

Dropping his first release on Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly label back in 2003, Justin Martin was intrinsically involved with the development of Dirtybird Records from the very beginning. Justin appeared on Dirtybird’s first four releases, feeding off the energy of the San Francisco underground alongside Claude Von Stroke and pushing forward a sound that exploded on the global dance scene. Justin’s vibe is tough and melodic, rattling sound systems the world over. In 2020, Justin launched his own label ‘What To Do…’, kicking things off with his single ‘Needs’. Along the way he’s collaborated with the likes of Ardalan, Eats Everything and PillowTalk and remixed Rufus Do Sol. This is Justin’s first tour in Australia for many years, and we cannot wait to host him under The Abercrombie’s iconic strobe tubes. 

Having previously played with Justin back in their native Aotearoa a few years back, AROHA & TALI are teaming up for an exclusive set together as part an Australia & NZ tour to support the duo’s hot new single ‘These Walls’. UNDR Ctrl artist AROHA plays on the back of a stacked summer which saw her slay crowds at Pitch Festival, Gaytimes and Beyond The Valley. 

Completing a mega hat-trick of headliners, we welcome back another key UNDR Ctrl artist, the emotive house prince POOLCLVB. It’s been a MASSIVE 12 months for POOLCLVB with the release of two widely respected singles ‘Love Type’ and ‘Broken Heart’ and an insane touring schedule that’s taken him on the SPILT MILK festival tour and his own 25+ date national headline club run. In between that POOLCLVB finds the time to run his successful weekly residency LOVECLVB aboard our fave boat Glass Island, and his record label by the same name. We extend the family connections to two of LOVECLVB’s rising label artists Harry Hayes and LUPO.THEBOY – both of whom will be spinning their special brand of house upstairs in the Sunroom. Sydney selectors Roxy Lotz and Alliecat complete the line-up, with tickets on sale now.
