"Brisbane, Queensland – Get ready for a memorable night at The Triffid this 16th of December. One of Brisbane's most moderately popular bands Citypiss is back with their 3rd album, "No. 1". They've got an extraveganza of a reunion show planned for both fans and rando guys off the street who "just wanted to get a beer after work, now can ya leave me alone". Get ready. No, really, get ready.

In the spirit of Christmas, fans of Christmas (and music) will enjoy a night of great live music (and Christmas). In what is set to be an evening of tear-filled coming of age stories, the evening will pay host to not one, not two but THREE reunion shows.

Joining Citypiss, The Cairos are next up having a crack at the defib. In their own words "Brisbane’s moodiest Rock Gentlemen return from the dead and bring with them sonic explosions from beyond". We don't know what these sonic explosions will entail, but we're sure it's going to be nothing short of spectacular.

The third band getting together this Christmas is Good Oak. Comprised of members of Busby Marou and
Brisbane’s finest musicians, Good Oak bring an important live performance with a rich sound that combines roots, blues, country and rock & roll.

Emerging from the sparkling waters of Byron Bay, Seaside are an indie band penning music that makes you feel, and offering a soundtrack to their listeners to make memories with wherever they are. Y'all will be dancing by the time they're through let me tell you that for free.

We've also got Smallest Horse; a folk-punk band from Brisbane, Australia. They "sing and shout about cute dogs and starting families, and about dealing with loss and moving forward". We're stoked to have them along for this night of nights. I wonder if they'll sing about YOUR dog?

Joining this already stellar line-up are some of the most mind-meltingly good Queensland bands like indie rock group Betty Taylor, the "4L straight 6 rock n roll" Boing Boing, or the moody pop rock of GhostMutt. My Friend Chloe bring their unique sound which "sheds light on the dark, like a riot flare exploding in a back alley".

There might also be a few surprises like a special set from none other than James "The Sheriff" Watford from Citypiss. He'll be performing a solo act as Just Jim "What Citypiss would be if it was Just Jim". Not to mention a special harp-accompanied meditation session by the one and only Alejandro Riccajervo & Lake Kelly.

Don't miss out on A Very Pissy Triffmas at The Triffid on 16th December. Tickets are $30 + BF PS or $35 on the door. Doors open at 3pm on the day. For tickets and more info, visit The Triffid's website.
