Tom Scary (Tom Iansek of Big Scary) is #1 Dads, the side project for the irrepressible output created by the prolific writer/producer. With tickets in short supply for an intimate run of sold out headline shows in January, #1 Dads has announced a final run of shows before “putting the project to rest”.

As the artists that Tom Scary has produced and mixed are now unfailingly surfacing on the nation's airwaves (Slum Sociable, Airling, Montgomery, Step-Panther, Banff, Art Of Sleeping, Hockey Dad), he has returned to work with primary outfit Big Scary, writing and recording for their third record. As such, these will certainly be the final chances to catch #1 Dads live before creative energies are focused elsewhere. Just like his earlier shows that awed audiences, a full band as well as guest vocalists Tom Snowdon and Ainslie Wills will join the tour.

With a signature understated approach and effortless pop sensibilities, About Face continues to find a way into the hearts of fans and critics. It has been included on the AMP shortlist (which Tom Scary won in 2014 for Big Scary's Not Art), nominated for a J Award, and appeared in many a "Best Of 2014" list.

Joining #1 Dads on the tour for all shows will be the Tom Scary-produced crew from Mordialloc, Slum Sociable. Their Lo-Fo washed-out jazz hop is turning heads and their live show will be the perfect compliment for an intriguing showcase of musical talent.
