Mild Orange will return to their antipodean routes after touring their third album Looking for Space on highly successful Europe, US and Canadian tours. The band, hailing from multiple small towns around New Zealand, became international indie darlings after the release of their viral-hit debut album Foreplay in 2018, and have since brought their powerful yet pensive live shows around the globe from Auckland to Paris and beyond.
As the band’s most personal record to date, Looking for Space is the result of Mild Orange tearing apart the four walls that defined their bedroom pop sound and capturing the wilderness that lies beyond. Praise has rolled in from international press, with Rolling Stone commenting, “Mild Orange are at their luscious best with this cruisy third record, the gorgeous Looking for Space.”
While Kiwi audiences have been well acquainted with the band’s live shows during the course of their meteoric rise, this tour will be the first opportunity for Australian fans to enjoy the experience. Mild Orange say “We’re so stoked to finally be touring Australia - we’ve been trying to get there for years now. We’ve had such epic support from our Aussie mates all along the way and we’re well aware that they know how to boogie. Can’t wait. Also very excited to be coming home to Aotearoa from London and reconnecting with the chilled out grooves”.
Don’t miss out on Mild Orange touring Australia and New Zealand this October
