Are you under 18 and looking to experience live music at its best?
Get around Young Blood, a new gig happening Sunday March 18 at Oxford Art Factory, exclusively for all you young punters out there.
Brought to you by FBi Radio in conjunction with MusicNSW and City of Sydney, Young Blood features some the nation's most talented and buzz-worthy artists.
Headlining is Ali Barter, providing fist pumping, bed jumping sounds from her debut album A Suitable Girl. Here's your chance to see the highly anthemic and addictive femme rock champ in action and up-close.
Joining her is noise/folk rock four-piece Tiny Little Houses fresh from the release of their 'coming of age' long-play Idiot Proverbs. Sharp, loud and sarcastic as hell, the Melbourne boys paint a whole new picture of what it's like to grow up as a Gen Y slacker.
Also in tow is the sweet, sun-drenched garage pop of Flowertruck. Releasing their debut album Mostly Sunny on March 16, just two days before Young Blood, make sure you're the first to hear them play stacks of new tracks live for the first time.
Kicking the arvo off will be the noisy lo-fi sounds of Newcastle 18 year old Fritz. Putting out her debut album at the impressive age of 17, Fritz is a young gun that lets her music do the talking.
Plus, catch blistering DJ sets from DZ Deathrays, jumping on the decks for a special appearance.
So if you're under 18 and sick of missing all the best gigs Sydney has to offer, get down to Young Blood, kicking off from 12pm at Oxford Art Factory.
