Feel Closer to Championstoday as the $1 million Group 1 XXXX Doomben Cup heads a stellar day of black type racing at Doomben Racecourse.

The Snowden-trained import Huetor made history in last year’s Cup, staging a comeback after injury to score his second victory in the 2000-metre weight-for-age contest. The gelding is only the fourth horse to score back-to-back wins since the Cup was first run in 1933.

Also on the supporting program today are three Group races: the Group 2 The Roses, Group 3 Magic Millions Mares Mile and Group 3 BRC Sprint.

Please note as Brisbane Racing Club is a Licenced Venue you may be asked for ID when on course.

Acceptable Forms of ID include: Current Australian driver licence or learner permit, passport (from any country), adult proof of age card, a recognised proof of age card (eg. Keypass identity card) or foreign driver license. These can be hard copy ID or official digital ID. The ID must be current and have a photograph of the person and their date of birth. Expired IDs will not be accepted.

It is an offence for a minor to be on licensed premises in Queensland unless they are accompanied by a responsible adult who is responsibly supervising the minor
