The Oxford Art Factory announce second XraySpeX event featuring The Belligerents, Jack River, Bleeding Knees Club and more.

Partnering with I OH YOU and the Oxford Art Factory are proud to announce the second installment of their all ages music and arts initiative, XraySpeX. After a successful and exciting start in July, their first lineup saw acts like Winston Surfshirt, Bec Sandridge, The Vanns, Ninajirachi & IV League take the stage, drawing in a keen and enthusiastic bunch of music lovers of all ages. XraySpeX's next event welcomes even more punters, as they open up their doors to a crowd of all ages.

Their second lineup is headlined by Brisbane psych-dreams, The Belligerents followed by indie-pop padrone, Jack River, slacker-punks, Bleeding Knees Club and quirky quintet, Cousin Tony's Brand New Firebird. The lineup also hosts a selection of underage acts including Triple J Unearthed High finalist, Taj Ralph, Newcastle's shoegaze queen, FRITZ and Canberra five-piece Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers.

The event is built to expose students to live music while giving those involved in the production of the event, an experience normally only obtained by professionals. Originally launched in 2008, XraySpeX, saw the likes the Tame Impala, The Presets, Art Vs. Science, The Jezabels and Cut Off Your Hands play their first shows at the Oxford Art Factory.
