For the past 12 years Wolf & Cub have been one of Adelaide’s most important exports, with a long history of impeccable releases, major support shows and successful international ventures.

After playing regularly around Adelaide in 2002, the band signed to Australian label, Dot DashRecordings with representation from Remote Control Records. In 2004, they released their first EP, Wolf & Cub with rave reviews. On the strength of two EPs, the band signed to international label 4AD in September 2005 and played in a string of London shows including shows with The Breeders. On the strength of these releases the band toured with acts like TV on the Radio, The Killers, Wolfmother, Primal Scream, Queens of the Stone Age (handpicked by Josh Homme) and Death from Above 1979; appeared on the line-ups of multiple national festivals; embarked on numerous nationwide tours of Australia as well as undertaking various international tours across Japan, Europe and the US.
