Witchskull, Cruciform and The Veil hit Newtown’s famed “The Vanguard” on Saturday 1 March 2025 for an evening of diverse Aussie heavy doom metal not to be missed.

For the uninitiated, Witchskull have been carving their own unique niche in Australia’s Doom Metal scene for over a decade, releasing 4 full length LP’S, with the last 3 through the UK’s revered Rise Above Records. 

Cruciform are one of the country’s earliest exponents of death/doom metal, forming in 1990 and creating a multi-decade legacy second to none. 

The Veil have been hypnotising listeners with their distinct blend of Doom laden post-punk since the late 2000’s and continue to forge a path they’ve truly made their own…
