The search for WA’s best songs is one step closer.

WA's premiere songwriting competition delivers the goods once again with an incredible pool of nominees. WAM's Song of the Year, presented by Act-Belong-Commit, recognises and uncovers the absolute creme de la creme of the lush songwriters in abundance across WA. This year's competition provides even greater opportunities and rewards for successful nominees with over $45,000 available in prizes across 17 categories.

Award winners will be announced at the WAM Song of the Year Awards Party, taking place on Wednesday 26th June from 6pm at Freo.Social. Hosted by the incredible MC Odette Mercy, the evening will kick into gear with feature performances from Song of the Year nominated acts, including gloom pop two-piece Echo Adore, indigenous hip-hop act Flewnt, indie/punk rockers Pat Chow and Persian world fusion artist Tara Tiba with Rhubarb Records DJ's keeping the vibes rolling through the night.

Doors open at 6pm and the ceremony begins at 6:30pm.
