‘Walking Deads’ is Australia’s premiere Talking Heads Tribute Show.  This time we’re looking through the lens of New Wave.  It was a time when the world was looking for inspiration and innovation. Out of all the creative bands that followed, Talking Heads were unique.

The Walking Deads Show is an homage to Talking Heads’ art-funk music, their energy and their eccentricity.  Nine first-class musicians (including a three-piece horn section) recreate the most dynamic and complex music they ever produced. The show features music from their iconic albums ‘Remain in Light’ and ‘Speaking in Tongues’, plus all the classics - Once in a Lifetime, Psycho Killer, Road to Nowhere, Burning Down the House, Life in Wartime, Girlfriend and many, many more.

This is a show of total joy and entertainment … with a very big suit! 

But wait, there’s more … support band ’The Reflection’ set the mood with a collection of 80’s new wave classics.  Think ‘Turning Japanese’ and ‘Girls on Film’.  Also think Australia, with great bands like Icehouse, INXS, Pseudo Echo, Split Enz and many, many more.
