The PERTH BLUES CLUB presents

UK & Europe's No1 Blues Harp and Front Man Steve 'West' Weston

Ladies and Gents, We are pleased to be able to present for his one and only show in WA during his Australian tour, the UK and Europe's No 1 Blues Harp and Front man, the tonemaster himself
Mr STEVE 'WEST' WESTON.
Steve has a pretty solid claim to being London’s top harmonica man. His tone is extraordinary, as is his taste and style, and within his chosen field – old style Chicago/West Coast harp playing- he’s right up there with anyone in the world today.

Introduced to the piano at age 7 with a few boogie woogie classics, Weston quickly found a calling in music. Playing his preferred laid-back Chicago style American blues to the louder British blues. Steve Weston captures any audience with unique charisma be it as a performer within the band or its leader onstage. The last couple of years have seen West Weston touring extensively with Mud Morganfield [Son of Muddy Waters] and also Roger Daltrey (the who), also topping the album charts with Wilko Johnson and Roger Daltrey.

Today, Weston ranks among the very best harp players in the European blues world. His work on the harp is at once deep in the tradition of harmonica masters Sonny Boy Williamson 2 and Little Walter while at the same time pushing that tradition forward. Steve will be joined at the Perth Blues club by an amazing West Australian band The Three Sharps for a night of pure blues not to be missed.

Seperately the members of "The Three Sharps" will need no introduction but tonight they come together for this event not only to support and back Steve Weston but to launch themselves as this new and exciting line up. A band a long time in the making, with a couple of false starts and one or two try out gigs, a 22 year quest for Tommy "Boss" Bosson comes to fruition as the lads finally get their act together. Boss, known as the front man for The Score is joined by, Big Al James, Hank Deberitz and Yugon Chobanoff all of The Vibrolators fame to form Perths newest and Sharpest dressed Blues Band.

The Three Sharps, will kick the night off with a belting set of new tunes then "Boss" will hand the band over to Steve for what will be one long ripper of a set. You will need you dancing shoes for this one it will be a night full of Jump, Shuffle and Swing, Blues you can use...... We'll see you there.
