George Mouratidis is a poet, translator and researcher who especially digs the Beat Generation and 1960s Counterculture. He is also a Fellow in literary studies at Melbourne Uni and a founder and director of Kalliope X magazine, an online forum for culturally and linguistically diverse literature. His debut collection Angel Frankenstein was published in 2018 by Soul Bay Press.
Micaela Sahhar is an Australian-Palestinian writer & educator. Her essays, poetry and commentary have appeared in Cordite, Meanjin, Overland and Sydney Review of Books among others. She was commended for the 2024 Peter Blazey Fellowship, is a Wheeler Centre Next Chapter Fellow, and recipient of Neilma Sidney Literary Travel Funding. Her poetry will appear in Haymarket’s 2025 anthology “Heaven Looks Like Us: Palestinian Poetry”. Micaela’s first book, a work of creative non-fiction that foregrounds the Palestinian diaspora, will be published with NewSouth in Autumn 2025.

Gloria Demillo (they/them) is a poet, writer and performer. Their creative work explores the concept of memory, collective histories, and the complicated nature of trauma. While they have often described their work as “sad girlboy” poetry, they are working towards writing about joy, hope, and the transformative power of love. They’ve published with the Australian Poetry Journal, Peril Magazine, Cordite Poetry Review,
and Red Room Poetry. They’ve performed at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Queerstories, Melbourne Fringe, the Biennale of Sydney, National Young Writers Festival, Emerging Writers Festival, Australian Poetry Slam, and the Bankstown Poetry Slam Olympics. They have facilitated workshops and mentored emerging writers for Arts Centre Melbourne, Writers SA, and WordTravels. Gloria was the lead actor in Let
Me Know When You Get Home, the actor and writer for A Minute’s Silence which debuted at Solstice Emerging Writers Festival and was chosen for Melbourne Theatre Company’s First Stage 2022. They are a member of the theatre group Ka-llective and practice a collaborative creative process founded in kapwa (co-spirit).
Michael Farrell is a poet and poetry scholar, with a PhD in Australian literary studies. Michael's most recent publications include a book of poems, Googlecholia, with Giramondo, and a chapter on the 19th century, in the Cambridge Companion to Australian Poetry (ed. Ann Vickery).
