Soul, Funk, Jazz, Broadway/Tin Pan Alley-style pop, Reggae, and African elements
Stevie Wonder is an indisputable genius of modern music. His recordings are richly eclectic and take from elements of Soul, Funk, Jazz, Broadway/Tin Pan Alley-style pop, Reggae, and African elements.
On April 2nd at Lazybones, current & past students and staff of the Sydney Con Jazz course will form a 9 piece band to play an exciting collection of arrangements of some of Stevie's most iconic tunes, and some deeper tracks.
Rumours of some mad music and an all round good time from this exciting collective of musicians are rife - we certainly wouldn't recommend missing it.
Supported by the very talented duo, Annabel and Lachie Bates
