Groovin the Moo Townsville 2008
Townsville Groovin the Moo - Proudly presented by Triple J, The Townsville Bulletin and Cattleyard Promotions. Touring regional music festival, Groovin the Moo will return to the town of Maitland on Saturday April 26 2008 and break new ground by adding Townsville in Far North QLD to the tour diary for Saturday 3 May. Last year's festival in Maitland was deemed a success, after the event attracted a record crowd and tickets sold out one full month in advance.
Groovin the Moo has yet to make a mark on QLD, now established in both Maitland (NSW) and Albury-Wodonga (NSW / VIC), festival organisers deemed 2008 the year to head into the North of Australia’s sunshine state to ….. welcome Groovin The Moo Townsville.
“We’ve been looking at Townsville for a while and decided to bring the Moo up north in 2008. The feedback we have received from the folks in and around Townsville has been really positive so we are very confident that a big crowd will come out. The lineup is awesome and everyone is really excited to be coming up to North Queensland. I suspect there will be a few artists who will extend their trip to include a few days on Magnetic Island, the Whitsunday Islands and other glorious spots”, said Mr Halpin from Cattleyard Promotions.
For the first installment of Groovin the Moo Townsville, Festival Promoters have hand picked a stunningly diverse line up of musical talent and outstanding performers to hit the stage.
