The Lachlan Gear trio featuring Jessie Gordon consists of numerous acoustic string instruments and voice. They will present a night of eclectic, passionate and vibrant acoustic music. The main influence being Jazz Manouche (or Gypsy Jazz) along with repertoire and elements from bluegrass, country, soul, blues, Latin and world music.
Expect a night of virtuosic improvisation and repertoire that includes everything from impossible uptempo swing numbers, soulful sweet ballads, burning bluegrass firecrackers, traditional Gypsy waltzes plus much much more.
The quartet performs with captivating and exploratory interplay along with a fire and passion so integral to the tradition of these timeless and revered musical traditions.
