Event Details

"Terrace House is an indie rock band hailing from Sydney's inner west. Named for and inspired by the elegant, faded dwellings whose rents fund the retirement dreams of those brave, hard-working Boomers, the band draws on the sound of the Strokes-era indie revival laced heavily with the lush, bittersweet harmony of a forgotten time.

Terrace House’s newest single Youth, an indie rock anthem of love and loss has enjoyed community radio play around the country, and has been playlisted hundreds of times around the world, Having been lauded by Triple J’s Steph Hughes for the song’s “melancholy pop heart”, Terrace House are currently riding a high, having been regularly gigging around Sydney's inner west. They also recently won silver medal at Moshpit’s Battle of the Bands, just last week!

Under the stewardship of enigmatic frontman Adam van Diz, Terrace House craft lush, pleading pop-rock nuggets that are equal parts jaded, yearning and dreamily oblique. Inspired by bands like Last Dinosaurs, Mac DeMarco and Her’s, Terrace House is here to stir the hips, pluck the heartstrings, and Save Rock'n'Roll

Terrace House will be joined at the Trocadero Room by legends Packing Dhaka and Rippled Sun:

Packing Dhaka

Five lads from Sydney blending funk grooves, psych rock, catchy hooks and a pinch of jazz harmony to deliver a unique package of indie/rock

Rippled Sun

Indie folk trio from the inner west.
