Event Details

Discover the incredible, riveting story and music of “Sugarman” Sixto Rodriguez who only ever released two albums: ‘Cold Fact’ (1970) and ‘Coming From Reality’ (1971). When both releases failed to chart in the US, Rodriguez gave up music.

Over the next two decades, he would unknowingly become a superstar in South Africa. Out-selling both The Beatles and Elvis in album sales,Rodriguez influenced a generation with his social and politically motivated songs.

Using state of the art video projection, incredible lighting, and a full live band ‘The Rodriguez Story’ is a moving and powerful concert featuring timeless classics, including ‘Sugarman’, ‘I Wonder’ ‘Inner City Blues’, ‘I Think Of You’ and many more. This is a show not to be missed!
