SUBHIRA QUINTET - Wild Contemporary World Music
One of the main World Music bands from Chile, with more than 30 years career and 21 released albums.
Their music blends native American music from the south of South America with experimental and progressive sound, using elements from folk, jazz and contemporary academic music. They have played in some of the main festivals and venues from their homeland Chile, North America and Europe.
Their particular formation includes analog keyboards, piano, ethnic instruments (Rodrigo Cepeda), violin (Jachi Prieto), cello (Francisco Martínez), flute (Ema Morales) and drum set (Rebeca Martínez)
