Strings & Stories

Featuring Nuria (duo) + Charlotte Lucretia with Jed de Weys
This month—head upstairs and unwind with an intimate evening of powerful emotions and captivating melodies from some extraordinary electro/pop artists—who will put on their folk hat for the night!

Expect a dynamic mix of new, original music alongside select, beloved covers—wrapped together with some personal stories between tunes.

Charlotte Lucretia is a singer, songwriter and producer from here in lutruwita/Tas. Charlotte's music primarily lives in an electronic realm, equipped with intricate beats, synths and melodies. However, Charlotte will bring to Strings and Stories a stripped back performance, showcasing a different side to her musicality. Charlotte will be accompanied by lead guitarist/fellow member of local band Bonsai, Jed de Weys—who will provide the strings to the stories conveyed by the pair.

Lutrutiwta/Tasmanian born and bred Nuria has travelled throughout Australia with notable past performances including the Cygnet Folk Festival, Nannup Folk Festival, Top Half Folk Festival and supporting the Waifs. Performing Strings & Stories as a duo, Nuria’s live performance will give an intimate version of the electro-pop sound she is known for.

Wednesday 5 March | Free entry | $6.66 drinks all evening
