After being taken out of the public eye on television due to an inundation of political correctness it would seem a lot of the public have since thought that he must be dead. This could not be further from the truth as past years have seen Steady Eddy still performing on cruise ships, in clubs and various festivals. It comes as a surprise to Steady to hear that people had written him off but if anyone can see the funny side of this situation it's this man.

"I'm still alive but still can't kick, so no, I haven't kicked the bucket" he said with a cheeky grin.

Spend some time with this man on the street and you would understand his surprise as you can barely walk 5 paces without someone recognising him and requesting a photo or autograph. There are horns beeping and people shouting out cars 'Hey Steady' and there is always a joke or yarn about the time someone seen him a few years ago at such and such.

"This just means I can plan a comeback tour and hopefully make a fortune since John Farnham's had about 6 and it worked for him" he said jokingly. 

Steady is now sharing the stage with mates Singer Songwriter Lance Friend and WA's Blues man Lightning Jack with a night of Comedy, Country and Blues. This show is not only unique it will have people wiping the tears away and is a must see on everyone's calendar. 

Lance Friend is a singer songwriter who is often told he's the Australian Country version of Bob Seger or Bruce Springsteen with his dynamic vocals. He shares authentic tales and captivates audiences with his stories so listeners are taken on a journey within his songs. A regular at Tamworth Country Music festival, Gympie Music Muster, Airlie Beach Festival of Music, Mud Bulls n Music plus heaps more. Lance is famous for his hit songs 'The Condamine, Longreach Sky, Once a Month Weekend' and is often heard on country radio stations across Australia.

Lightning Jack is a worldly and talented 24yr old bluesman. Invited to play a song with the Angels at just 13yrs of age he has music in his veins. His lap steel style blues with attitude! Throw in Steady on his harp, Lance's dynamic vocals and you have a mixture of country rocking Blues!!
