Sparkling SYDNEY, the first of its kind unique sparkling wine festival returns to the picturesque harbourside shores of Pirrama Park, Pyrmont on Saturday 30 April 2022.

Sparkling SYDNEY is a major food and wine event celebrating all there is to love about Australian gastronomy, paired with the best of Australia’s and just a hint of International sparkling wines and much much more.

The event celebrates all things effervescent with more than 60 sparkling wines to enjoy, from 20 local regional wineries to enjoy an array of varietals that includes; Blanc de Blanc, Petit Verdot and Moscato, Sparkling Malbec, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Sparkling Rose, Verscato, Prosecco, Sparkling Zibbibo, and Zinfandel Shiraz.

There is plenty of local gourmet food on offer as well, meticulously paired with bubbles and other sparkling treats including Six String Brewing Co craft beers, a Fever-Tree Garden Bar, Brix Distillery spiced rum cocktails and refreshing Matso’s Brewery fruity sparkling range. The event has a range of non-alcoholic drinks including VinZero showcasing the award-winning alcohol free sparkling Vinada.

Located on the water’s edge of Pirrama Park guests can, enjoy a sparkling wine matched with wild and fresh Signature Oysters, so just relax in the sun and enjoy live bands and DJ line up while sipping on a selection of the best bubbles Australia has to offer.

The live music line-up features contemporary Jazz fused with indie pop, electro swing and New Orleans’s classics; providing inspired infectious vibes throughout the day with main stage featuring the Crawfish Po’Boys and Spyglass. Joining them is Alice Terry, dubbed ‘Sydney’s first lady of blues’, Alice Terry has the kind of voice you can’t ignore. As well as the incomparable Prinnie Stevens, Australia's own RnB Soul Songstress who will take to the main stage.

The DJ Garden Lounge will feature the blissful tunes of DJ’s Kate Monroe and wacky antics of The Dollar Bin Darlings, mixing their unique musical fusion of disco, RnB, soul and house. A perfect accompaniment to sipping Sparkling in the park with friends.

A must-attend event for wine lovers across the city, Sparkling SYDNEY offers a one of a kind sensory experience amidst the idyllic backdrop of Sydney Harbour, expertly curated to the day’s central theme ‘SPARKLING’.

 The ticket includes a branded festival vino PET glass (valued at $6), entry to the event, live music stage, DJ garden lounge all day & gst: music all day. Wine Selectors will also feature their Cellar Door with free tastings: a Sparkling journey with ‘a taste of Australia’ at their cellar door marquee.

This is a cashless event, so upload your Festival Currency digital currency wristband pre-event or on the day. Drinks are on sale as tastings or by the glass at the event. Take-home liquor bottle sales are permitted, however bottles are not to be consumed on site.
