DOORS 6:30PM // FREE ENTRY // SHOW STARTS 7PM
This event is a kind of musical “Whose line is it anyway?” where you get to write the lyrics. And you won’t be on your own. In groups you’ll start off by playing around with words, creating things to share that may be silly or profound. Then you’ll be given the lyrics of an iconic song, and together you’ll figure out a whole new story. Your host Will Tait will then sing these freshly re-written songs back to you, and the more wildly wacky they are, the more fun we’ll have! From there, things will get a little bit more improvised, so who knows where they will end up… What is for certain, is that you’ll come away with a smile in your heart and spring in your step.
Will Tait is a songwriter and wordsmith with a passion for bringing people together in fun and inspiration. He and his partner Kate Constance have a duo act El Rey Miel that weaves together immersive piano duets with surreal & quirky cabaret numbers, and they are part of the multi-genre festival band 8Foot Felix. Will is also an MC and presenter with decades of experience of tuning audiences into the wonders of our living planet, and our capacity to come together and generate abundance for all life.
